Getting started

Since the leather contains plenty of oil, it can be used for about half a year without the need to apply oil or cream.

Adding more oil to the oil originally contained in leather may cause oil stains or change the texture.

Also, please refrain from using waterproof spray, etc., as it will put a film on the surface and interfere with the breathing of the leather, causing mold and the like.

Regarding color transfer

The leather used in die Tasche has a dye finish with no coating on the surface, so there is a risk of color transfer.

Rubbing the leather against a light-colored fabric can cause color transfer. (This can happen especially when the leather is damp.)

Also, in the case of light-colored leather such as gray and pink, dyes such as denim may transfer to the leather.

Regarding water wetting and stains

If it gets wet, wipe it gently with a dry cloth and watch the situation for the time being.

(Please note that if you rub it strongly at that time, only that part will be glossy.)

In most cases, it will evaporate, not stain, and clean.

Even if stains remain, they will become familiar and less noticeable after several days of use.

If water stains remain, moisten the whole with a soft cloth that has been wrung out tightly.

(At this time as well, wipe it gently without rubbing it.)

If you dry it in the shade in a well-ventilated place, the stains will not be noticeable.

Regarding scratches

Claw marks and small scratches made during use will disappear or become inconspicuous after a few days of use.

Please use it without worrying about it for the time being.
